From a Bulldog to a Jayhawk
Starting out in a college I knew did not fit me, nor would I stay at was not a good start to my first year of college to say the least. I started off at a small University in Iowa called Drake University. Out of my choices I had to choose from, Drake had the largest amount of students. It also was the only NCAA Division I school, out of the choices I had. So of course I ended up choosing Drake, because it was decently close to home, and provided a few decent sports teams, to help me threw my time at Drake. Needless to say, at the end of my first semester I knew that I could not stay at Drake any longer, and needed to be where I knew I should have been in the first place. Of course, by the title of this blog, it was the University of Kansas. Born and raised a KU fan, I never thought I would have gone anywhere else. So when my dreams started to become a reality I was enjoying every minute of it. Still being here for short time, I have enjoyed being a Jayhawk and feel that this sense of joy will not stop for quite some time. Speaking of Joy's, one of my biggest joys are basketball. Along with basketball another is, my now Alma Mater, being a Kansas Jayhawk. So deciding to put them both together, why not right about the University of Kansas Men's basketball team. Growing up around watching the basketball team with my father, it has always been a passion of mine, and I do not recall missing a game for quite some time. My knew life here at the University of Kansas, will push me to knew heights, and just like that, in a short amount of time, a Bulldog becomes a Jayhawk.
